The Sun Runner has been following the art of John Whytock, including his famous west coast and Las Vegas murals, but now we venture along with him as he embarks on a renaissance journey into his first love in the arts: MUSIC. As a composer and guitarist, Whytock has performed his “nouveau classical” music in the mountain and desert areas of Southern California with concert violinist Tara Chapman, since 2000, and has recorded a promotional CD entitled “Avalon.” The Sun Runner camera accompanied the duo into the recording studio and on the road to several premiere performances.
